Welcome to Mrs. Jenkins' 8th grade American Literature class! This is my fourth year teaching at South Pasadena and it is a pleasure! This year has fun and exciting things in store as we explore literature in conjunction with learning American History. In 8th grade, we set the standards high in order to prepare for the next educational hurdle: high school! We will be polishing our essay writing skills as we continue mastering the District Writing Standards. We will also dive deep into literature by careful textual analysis. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!
